Default G.I. Joe

Ok, so its not really all-time favourite, but its quite a damn good entertaining action movie! I grew up on those comics, and developed quite a fascination with Snakes Eyes and Storm Shadow, so it really pleased me to see those two always at each other's throat (body, arms, anything that could be cut was cut!) from the moment they could walk!
A real Boys-Toys movie!

I saw avatar in 3d it was pretty good. I'd have to say Fight Club is my favorite though.

My all time favorite movies are Kung Fu Panda and Peaceful Warrior. These two films will teach life lessons.

Finally got around to seeing Avatar 3D at the IMAX.... oh.. my... friggin... gawd.... absolutely amazing... I was literally dodging left and right to avoid the missiles at the end battle. Soooo cool.... I'm now a firm believer in 3D TV now....
There was a booth right in front of the cinema entrance where we could sample a 3D 42" monitor by Samsung.... watching polar bears running towards us and seals swimming by... looked stunning! I'm going to hold off buying a new TV until that goes down in price now!

I haven't actually watched the movie as I'm too scared it'll ruin my childhood memories but GI Joe was my favourite toys as a kid, and yes, I also collected the comic books. In fact, I think I still have a box of the comics back at my parents place in storage somewhere...
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were my favourite too...I always wanted to be a ninja, and train my heart to stop so I could fake being dead!!! Remember that???
Man, good times...
So whatcha say? Should I just bite the bullet and see this movie?

I say go for it! I came away from it actually being rather entertained and enjoyed it despite some rather silly moments, like the Accelerator Suits running through Paris. Sure its silly, but they do have loads of moments of laughs too.
And the most important part of Snake Eyes v Storm Shadow, relax - its done very well! You don't see SS play dead, but then that would turn into a boring movie, hahaha! The build up between them two, when the film flashes back to their developing childhood, is worth watching by itself.
Overall, not one for the Oscars, but a very solid 4/5 stars for this typical blockbuster movie.
